    Okay, I was trying to get the Google Maps image of this
    bridge over Dix Road near Miller Road to show up directly
    rather than as a link. This is a very old bridge, it looks to
    be from the 1930s, maybe even before then, but it is the ONE
    bridge over a surface street near the Rouge River in that
    area that did not have an impassable flood under it on
    August 11, 2014.

    Schaefer next to the Marathon Refinery was impassable.
    It does have that drain from nearby surface streets off to
    one side that used to discharge parking lot surface chemical
    foam at one point.

    Greenfield Road under the Amtrak right of way next to the
    Dearborn Post Office was impassable. Of course Southfield
    Freeway would have been flooded near Michigan Avenue
    and the Rouge River.
