Default Rodegher's Used Bookstore to Close

In two months time, Rodegher's used books will be closing.http://www.rodeghersusedbooks.com/ There are not too many used bookstores left in the Wayne County area, so it will be a shame to see it go. Being in Dearborn [[23924 Michigan Ave. near Telegraph Rd.), I've gotten much of what I have in my current library from that place. Those who have known Kathy, knows that she ran a decent bookstore. Shop while you can to give support. I wish her luck.

Problem is that more and more people are going on line for used and collectible books. As a result, the really good stuff from estates is going on line and the brick and mortar stores are getting stuck with the crap that nobody wants.

I'll have to make it a point to stop in on one of my trips to Dearborn Music. I've bought a bunch of books from them in the past, notably several Tom Swift hardcovers that I had in the early-mid '60s when I was a kid. I'll be sorry to see them go. :-[[
