Anyone know the story on this? Someone has been very slowly renovating the first floor corner space into a bar. Signs say queens lounge coming soon.

this is what I heard yesterday: The owner of Cliff Bells bought that building a little while ago for like $600K. He is working on that Queens Bar, but is no rush to open. The whole reason he wanted that location is because it is going to be right next to the future Hudson's block development. He is allowing the puppet theatre to remain there.

interesting i saw a lot of activity leading up to opening day, but they're no where near ready for occupancy...great location tho

Ahhh, the location of the once-infamous Shopper's Lounge.

Thank you for clarifying. I was trying to figure out where there could be a bar on the Belle Isle Bridge approach, which is where 25 E. Grand Blvd. would be.
