Default Are there any other VR people out there?

I'm on the cusp of VR with a cellphone upgrade and a Chinese headset.
My legs are not reliable any more, so this might be my last visit to the rest of the world.

Do you have anything good to add of VR that could be used by me ?

Maybe a week or two until I can do the whole thing. Very interesting.

One site I found on YouTube had me floating on a two track in the woods just like the Aus Sable federal forest. With great music.

If you're talking about something like this, please send home a trip report every once in a while.

    I'm envious.

I spent two weeks buying a new phone with the proper specs, [[Gyro sensor) , and another two weeks unlocking the unlocked phone to a new carrier [[Ting, go there), with a brand new code.

That was the fun part, now what, you want me to ride a 3-D roller coaster through Jurassic park, blowing chunks in my Laz-e--boy. with a little Russian Wodka, to boot. ? Okay, I've got the goggles and phone.

Bob-Lo 1970, here I come. Tell my Mom I love her.

I recently broke down and downloaded the Minecraft demo for free [[instead of better for $26.95). You get 100 minutes of play before you have to start over from scratch.

So far I've become able to dig down to bedrock and mine a 21x21 area for gold and diamonds, etc. within that 100 minutes. Filled my inventory.

It was frustrating at first but with mastery comes confidence.

    It's another big toybox.

The only VR people out there I know of are at the Dem Con.? That's the ultimate in VR. You get every trip for nothing by just putting a cross in a box; paid for by your rich neighbors and a loan from China.

Odd story I came across on line from many years ago.http://www.21stcenturysciencetech.co..._violence.html
I guess one can throw James Holmes [[a neuroscience student on psyche meds, quoted by odd sources for saying "he felt he was in a video game", and later inspired a woman to throw a show at Hilary Clinton) and a few others since that was written.

I do not subscribe to the "video game made me do it" [[or any game-for that matter-as the "Dungeon Master" fiasco from the early 80's more had to do with a confused but bright underaged kid AWOL and being passed around a perverse community of Lansing men and not about Advance Dungeons & Dragons) theory. Nor do I recommend stepping on the toes of the greater incestuous tight-knit online community of gamers. Yet, there is a self-perpetuating closed-in subculture mentality that carries itself with all of that that leaves much to be desired, and there are cults that couldn't have done better with the horse-blinders and the absorption.

Maybe with the right combination of drugs combined with video games, porn or even Salinger can cause someone [[labeled a "troubled youth") to be the fall guy for a massacre.

I recall once being so drawn into the Doom video game when I was going through a heavy wound-licking phase. I became self-loathing, and I would start having nightmares about the game. That's when I just walked away from it forever.
