Horizon League Basketball Tourney Begins At The Joe

Might not be a ton of Horizon League fans on this forum, but this is a 4-day tourney which comes to Detroit this year.

It will be at the Joe for two years before moving to the new arena.

Very good arrangements as the HL has two Detroit area teams, Detroit-Mercy and Oakland, and Oakland is a very good basketball team.

Thinking of the new arena, that is FOUR event days for this one event alone...

I wish the MAC could do likewise, but they have a very good deal in Cleveland and won't move their tourney. [MAC has schools in Ypsilanti, Mt. Pleasant, Kalamazoo, Toledo and Bowling Green.] Wouldn't it be sweet if the Big Ten would rotate their tourney to Detroit once in a while?
