    Default Campus Martius Tree Lighting Fri Nov 20th

    The 12th annual Detroit Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20.

    The festivities kick off around 5pm but the actual tree lighting isn't until just before 8PM. 3 hours is a long time for children to wait in the cold - so we always try to get there around 7:15 which gives us ample time to get a hot chocolate and wait without being unbearable.

    I predict parking will be horrible. but at least it won't be snowing-- I guess.

    Everyone will have to get used to walking like in a real city again now that things are turning around.
