A fire broke out Saturday night at Yum Yum Donuts, 3741 Oakwood in Melvindale.

The Dearborn Fire Department extinguished the blaze; Melvindale’s fire department merged with Dearborn two years ago.

The shop on Oakwood near Prospect, which had been in business for decades, remained closed Sunday.
