Ramadan Suhoor Festival
This annual festival centered around latenight meals taken during the holy month of Ramadan will include more than 75 food, beverage, dessert and retail vendors.

During Ramadan, Muslims who observe the holiday abstain from food and drink between sunrise and sunset. In the wee hours before sunrise, Suhoor is served, a meal intended to sustain those fasting throughout the day.

The festival takes place on the following weekends: March 24-26; March 31-April 1; April 7-9 and April 14-15, in the parking lot of Fairlane Mall, 18900 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn. Tickets start at $5 and can be purchased by going to ramadansuhoorfest.com.

Marche du Nain Rouge
All are welcome to put on a costume and join the procession of handmade and humanpowered floats at this annual march along Detroit's Cass Corridor, with the goal of chasing the mythical demon known as the Nain Rouge out of town.
Festivities kick off from the corner of Second Avenue and Canfield Street in Midtown. Marchers in the parade will find music and entertainment at noon Sunday at the community stage near Motor City Brewing Works.

Opening ceremonies begin at 1 p.m. The parade will head down Second to the steps of the Masonic Temple in Detroit. Free.

Warren Spring Carnival
This fun-filled morning will include a visit with the Easter Bunny, egg hunt, face painting, inflatables, balloon sculptures, seed planting with the Warren Garden Club, a gaming trailer and more.

10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Warren Community Center, 5460 Arden in Warren. Free.

Dixieland Toy & Comic Show
Find vintage and modern toys and comics at this show that will feature Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, trains, action figures, pop culture items, comic books and more.

10 a.m.-4 pm. March 25. Dixieland Flea Market, 2045 Dixie Hwy. in Waterford. Free admission and parking.

Ann Arbor Film Festival
The 61th Ann Arbor Film Festival, the oldest avant-garde and experimental film festival in North America, will be a hybrid event with online and in-person options for attendees. Film screenings can be viewed at the Michigan Theater in downtown Ann Arbor or online.

The festival continues through Sunday; the online festival continues through March 29. Tickets are available at aafilmfest.org.
