Default Palladium building in downtown Birmingham is getting some new restaurant tenants

This is the multi-story movie theater located at the corner of Old Woodward and Hamilton Row. Since its inception it has struggled to find any long term retail and restaurant tenants, with the ground floor staying mostly empty for the past several years. The building was purchased last year with the intention of converting it into office, along with some better retail spaces, a smaller Emagine movie theater, and an underground parking garage. Construction has been ongoing for most of the summer. Today I walked by and there were "coming soon" signs showing the restaurants that will be opening there later this year.

You can also see a virtual tour of the inside of the new building here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=26&v=rmfFu5MBrmg
