Does anyone know any buildings downtown that have rooftop access for pics? I have seen many posted from the Metropolitan but do not know how to get up there

You have no business going to the rooftop of the Metropolitan or most other buildings. It is called criminal trespass. You cannot legally go to the roof of any building without permission from the owner.

Buy a drone online - way cheaper/easier and better pics from any vantage point.

The best idea is probably not to try to get on roofs of buildings you aren't supposed to be on, but if you are caught, which isn't particularly likely unless you are reckless, you will probably get a ticket for a civil fine but no criminal charge, but you should be aware that depending on the circumstances it is possible to be charged with criminal trespass or even breaking and entering. If you really still want to try it, don't go by yourself. It is dangerous. Ideally, go with someone who has already been in that building, so they may have some idea of how to get where you want to go.

But really, there have been so many photos taken from all these buildings, if your interest is taking a picture [[as opposed to adventure, or seeing the view) you might want to think about whether you have a sufficiently interesting idea that you want to bother.
