Default Summer Residence of William A. Fisher, Grosse Ile

Anyone know what happened to the original house? William Andrew Fisher 19013 Parke Ln, Grosse Ile, by Richard H. Marr. The original pool house still stands with its Pewabic tiles plus new additions[[per the Michigan film industry the additions were by Frank L. Wright). Current house built for Heinz Prechter. It was designed by Don Paul Young. His brother Charles also built a summer home here which still stands. Not sure were it is. Maybe the next door Cotswold like house? I have photos of the original white-sided Colonial house, pool house/garage/staff quarters and dock[[also per the largest private dock in Michigan). Another Fisher mansion fire? http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/19...88180291_zpid/

[QUOTE=RoseTerrace;485253]...per the Michigan film industry the additions were by Frank L. Wright)...

Frank Lloyd Wright designed quite a few buildings in Michigan, but he did not design anything on Grosse Ile.

Regarding the FLW information.... It was the previous owner "Wally" Prechter, widow of Heinz Prechter, who gave the the Michigan film industry office the information. I was told Architect Don Paul Young designed the replacement house so it seems plausible he did the pool house also. Current owner is Tom Gores owner of the Pistons. Below is a link to my blog post on this property. If anyone can add or correct please do. http://halfpuddinghalfsauce.blogspot.com/2015/08/summer-residence-of-mr-william-fisher.html
