Default Does anybody remember the Subway Market at Manistique & Essex?

My parents owned the Subway Market and I grew up in the Jefferson Chalmers area in the 60's. What a great place to grow up. We skated on the canals in the winter, swam in the river in the summer at Lakewood Park. Hung around all the sweet shops and cruised Jefferson at night. Nice memories.

I used to go in there as well as the Market across the street and Flo's at the Bridge store...lots of great memories were made in that neighborhood.
