    I was there. No, my name is not Brian Williams. The parade was labelled "Auto's Golden Jubilee", and Mom took me downtown on Woodward Avenue to watch the event. Near the end, she poked my shoulder, and said, "Look....there's Henry Ford!" I looked at a sedan [[probably a Lincoln, can't envision it any more) and saw old man with a nice old lady next to him. It was Henry and Clara Ford, who waved to the crowd as their car went by. Henry, of course, died the next year, but it sure was a memorable event.
