    Default RIP Steve Francis

As the article said, we all knew this day was coming, but it was still a shock. I had some great memories there, especially before and after shows at St. Andrews. He was such a welcoming gentleman, you couldn't really understand much of what he was saying, but that is what added to his charm. If it wasn't a shot of Schnapps, it was Blackberry Brandy. I believe I had my first sip of Blackberry Brandy there as a matter of fact. He will truly be missed.

RIP Steve. You showed kindness to so many. You will be remembered.

Does anyone remember when Steve's Place opened? I remember it from the mid 80s.

Steve was a true gentleman and will be missed. Many nights Steve's was the last stop on my bar crawl. Great juke box, fair prices and one of kind service.

My husband used to go there for lunch many times when he worked downtown. He took me one time. There were maybe 2 other people at the bar and us in there at the time. Steve keep coming to our table offering "more bread, more salad" the entire time. It was kind of funny.
