    It used to have really funky hours and/or was always closed for private events.

    Is there a tad more competent management running the place now? Set days/hours etc? Is cover still $5.00?

    Spent a couple enjoyable hours up there on a visit in 2013 I think. The renovations look nice. I'd encourage people to check it out if you want a relaxed place to talk with friends before/after dinner or something.

    Looks great, but doesn't Ilitch Holdings plan to put a building with 'bleacher seating' right in the middle of that mini-parking lot?
