That is amazing. I just checked the "zestimate" for the house I bought in SF in 1995. While its not definitive, it was 426% of what I paid for it. Sadly, I sold long ago.

Such disparities from region to region are bizarre.

OK bizarre as that may be that house needs some serious interior updating.

OK, you lost me. What has that house to do with Jimmy Hoffa ? ? ? ?

Dunno about all the above, but here's Jimmy in the 1940 census, showing his house at 16154 Robson, Detroit. And here's how it looks today.

What do you think that missing patch of grass on the front lawn seems to want to tell us, Ray?

My high school sweetheart babysat Bobby Machus, son of the Machus Red Fox owner. I always thought she was a little shifty.

Ray, the house on Robson remained in the Hoffa family well into the 1960's. The son James P. Hoffa was living in the house back during the mid-1960's and perhaps some years afterward.

Whenever he last ran for reelection as President of the Teamsters, the newspapers listed his residence as Troy. He may have even moved to Troy from the Robson house.
