    15. Detroit Observatory Daylight Tour, Sunday, March 8, 2015, 1-4pm.
    Built in 1854, Detroit Observatory signaled the University of Michigan’s ambition to become a center of scientific research. This historic site retains its original telescopes and mechanical systems. Daylight tours explore the working life of this Victorian research facility and the early campus. The Observatory is located at 1398 E Ann St., Ann Arbor 48109. Upcoming monthly tour days are April 12, May 16, and June 14.
