The short verson of a long story: I watched the beginning of the first Gulf War while standing in front of a tv monitor having an intense conversation with this guy who stood just over my shoulder. We talked about changing technologies and how not only would the Revolution, but the end of the world would be televised. We talked for maybe an hour or more while Bahgdad was getting bombed, all the time staring at the live greenish feed of a nightvison lens. We talked and talked and stared straight at the monitor the whole time; eventually I turned to leave and there was Mr. Spock.

He knew I recognised him, but I couldn't bring myself to say anything other than "good night."

I like Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, when Spock is cursing and what not. His one liners are great in that one!

Leonard Nimoy explains the origin of the Vulcan hand greeting.

Maybe SyFy network can do a marathon of "In Search Of..." episodes. Loved that show!

    Pretty good Spock car commercial.

Mr Spock and the Consolations of Solitude
Spock's eternal solitude-in-company was a consolation: it suggested that friendship isn't a poorer substitute for romantic love, and marriage and reproduction aren't the only happy ending.

Loved his work with "In Search Of..". He took a very strong interest in Van Gogh.
    Here's the whole episode:

    Safe journey's, Leonard.
