    Default Brass Rail Chop House

I found this post card in a carton with things that belonged to my grandmother. Does anyone know any details about this place?

The woodwork on the outside was bought and transferred to Kruse and Muer on Main in Rochster. There's a plaque in there talking about the Brass Rail, but I've forgotten the details.

Thanks for the link. My grandparents were active socially in GP but my mother told me they sometimes liked to mix in with the 'downtown crowd'. This looks it would be a happening place to do that!

Here are a couple of previous threads on the Brass Rail bars. The second one deals specifically with the carvings around the doors.
