    12. Shiver on the River, Saturday, February 7, 2015, 10am-3pm. Taking place in the Belle Isle Casino, this annual family event features environmental arts and crafts for kids, entertainment, exhibits, displays, and refreshments. At 1pm, Joe Hall, Belle Isle Park Supervisor, gives the State of the Island Address. Around the island, the various buildings and sites are open: Aquarium, Conservatory, Nature Zoo, Dossin Great Lakes Musem, Coast Guard Station, and Detroit Boat Club. Tours of the Detroit Yacht Club are scheduled. At 2pm, there is an Ice Rescue Demonstration at the Coast Guard Station. Free admission.
