    Default Anyone know who's huge funeral procession went west on 8 mile today at about 1pm?

    It was a big one with police escort. It was headed west on 8 mile and the lead car was stopped at 8 mile and Orleans. It stretched back [[stopped) all the way to past the middle of the 8 mile bridge. The two hearses were from Swanson's - it looked like mostly black folks in the cars.

    Any idea who this could have been for? Have not seen a procession this long in a very long time.

    I tried to access the funeral home's website to see what funerals they had listed for today, but couldn't get the page to load. Maybe someone else will have better luck.

    I got to their site, but it's nothing but a static page that doesn't do anything. It is not interactive at all, just a one page advertisement with the addresses of their two locations and photos of the homes.

    Oh well - may they rest in peace, whoever they were.

    It was probably Bishop Anderson's. He confirmed me as a boy! He also handed me my H.S. Diploma.
