Default Underground Economy in Metro Detroit

People know what is illegal and legal,
BUT that has never stopped the GreyMarkets

It could be mundane stuff like BabySitting off the books, or other simple services, for cash money.

How far “underground” an activity is
depends not only on its legal status but also on
the capacity of government to enforce laws and/or collect taxes.

It could quite literally be anything under the sun imaginable; like small contractors and landlords erecting structures and operating them in violation of the code.

Do the laws/regulations need to be loosened/relaxed to spark New Economic Growth and create actual spending/buying in the city ?

    Absolutely!!

The parasite is killing the host, local and national.

Do you wish to take food out of the mouth of the parasites and their little parasites?

YET - people want services and zero taxes.
People go hungry, people die, it happens.

Security, protection, prevention, enforcement, civility, all have costs associated with them.
Anarchy is NOT the answer, might is NOT right !
