    It has now been a year since Gilbert chose SHoP Architects and Detroit-based Hamilton Anderson Associates to design the future of the Hudson block... Has anything came from it yet? Did I miss something?

    havent missed a thing. i too am patiently awaiting the announcement. i cant imagine it being too much longer though.

    Probably [[hopefully) something will be said about it by spring time. Though Gilbert has been busy buying so much other property since then I wonder if he even still remembers about the Hudson Block.

    Hopefully something iconic is built. Don't really need extreme height to make it iconic. Iconic and timeless, tasteful architecture. Is that too much to ask? We'll see.

    Did they announce what type of structure they are building? Maybe he is trying to get a major retailer of similar caliber to what Hudsons was to go on the site.
