    Related - There was another unsung hero I'd like to mention. When the Liberian guy in Texas came down with ebola, his girlfriend's daughter interceded and took him to the hospital against his own and her mother's wishes. She may have saved her family and others from contracting the disease. Then when she was given a CDC clearance to go back to work after 15 or 16 days since exposure, she refused until 21 days had passed. This young lady was so responsible. Christmas is a good time to be thankful for these heroines who calm the waves of hate and make us safer.
