he was allegedly deranged. i ride the train weekly and always wondered about the security, this just proves more needs to be done. conductors should have some kind of protection to combat these kinds of situations. luckily no one was killed.

Sort of reminds me of the Vince Li incident in 2008 on a Greyhound, except the media referred to it as a "decapitation", not a "beheading". Supposedly, the man "was not the same" after serving time in the military.
