Default Christmas Tree Lighting in Campus Martius opens Downtown Holiday Season [Pics]

What a festive night as throngs gathered at Campus Martius in the reviving heart of Downtown Detroit for the lighting of the city Christmas tree and the official opening of the skating rink.

It felt like it too, biting cold with snow on the ground but with plenty of warm spaces to duck into - the giant food tent on Cadillac Square, Compuware and First National building [where the Somerset popup setup is underway]. Was anybody else there?
