"The restaurant will have 16,000 square feet of space inside the region’s largest office complex and a 1,000-square-foot outdoor patio facing Jefferson Avenue. It will employ 200-250 full- and part-time employees and seat more than 450 inside and another 175 diners outside. Construction is expected to begin in January, and the build out is estimated at $9 million.
I am trying to figure out where that would be especially 'outdoor patio facing Jefferson'. Would that be elevated grassy corner of Tower 300 - NW corner of the Rencen? https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=42.3...h°=180&z=19
I know they're a chain and they have location in Troy. How is the food/beer at these places?
Could they put it near the hotel main entrance off Renaissance Dr? It looks like you could have retail that along that lower level.

Several restaurants have failed in the RenCen but I think being a place where people can stroll the Riverwalk before or after, as well as having the riverfront visibility, will really help. There are a lot of tourists who end up eating in the food court because there haven't been any casual sit-down restaurants since Nemos and Big Boy closed.
hopefully they will have good nachos. And cheeseburgers.
Food is decent, beer is OK, crafty style but somewhat subdued and made more appealing to the masses... been to the Troy one and enjoyed it.... its a chain... biggest problem I've found with chains in Detroit [[ie - BWW), is the service..... usually SUCKS......
unless they put a lot of signage on the river this place wont have any riverfront visibility. i think it's an odd location but im guessing the better spots are already spoken for.Several restaurants have failed in the RenCen but I think being a place where people can stroll the Riverwalk before or after, as well as having the riverfront visibility, will really help.
