Default Obama isn't just Kenyan, he's also the Antichrist?

....and some here think he was only a radical liberal, socialist, Marxist...

WASHINGTON -- Move over, Birthers. It turns out President Obama is actually part of a far, far more sinister plot, one that will make you long for the days when you only worried that someone had ginned up a phony birth certificate for him.
As a breathless new report on the loony World Net Daily makes clear, Obama isn't just Kenyan -- he's also the Antichrist. And Jesus himself knew it.

The video at the end is priceless.

Yes, but is he going to take away our most important civil liberty: the right to hoard material goods?

According to Salon, "As a breathless new report on the loony World Net Daily makes clear, Obama isn't just Kenyan -- he's also the Antichrist. And Jesus himself knew it." I looked at the WND article, and concluded that it's Salon that might be a little breathless. WND reported someone's observation and goes on to say,
"Obama is far from being the first public figure to have his identity tied to Bible prophecy. For instance, President Reagan was considered by some to be a potential merely because each of his names – Ronald Wilson Reagan – has six letters, prompting some to think of 666, the "number of the beast" in the Book of Revelation.
Modern books such as "Naming the Antichrist: The History of an American Obsession" and "Antichrist: Two Thousand Years of the Human Fascination with Evil" have chronicled a wide variety of other suspects including Henry Kissinger, Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Italy's Benito Mussolini, Juan Carlos of Spain, Israel's Moshe Dayan, Egypt's Anwar Sadat, the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, Elvis Presley and ex-Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, perhaps for his famous birthmark on his head that some thought could be "the mark" of the beast mentioned in Revelation."

It might be a little loony to consider any of these people as the anti-Christ but Salon is just plain factually in error to say that the article in WND made clear that Obama was the anti-Christ or even referenced Kenya. Salon usually does a better job reporting.

This would be funny if it weren't so scary. Here you have a majority of voters of one of the two major political parties in this country that actually believe in this birther nonsense. The lunatic fringe is not out on the edge of the party anymore, its the base of the party.

The ultimate end-game to this sort of mess is that its going to empower someone who watches Fox News and listens to Rush, Glen Beck and those other entertainers, someone who may be deranged to attempt to harm the president as a result of these baseless, unfounded claims. I guess its true that if you tell a lie loud enough and long enough someone will began to believe you.

You should read the editorials and blogs in other countries that fear his involvement...it seems all the extreme right wingers of the world are uniting in opposition of his policies...

what is lost is that I daily get email from many people that spread newmax type propaganda...and just read the Jerusalem Post as well as our own papers and you will see that many are trying to brand him everything from the anti-Christ to anti-zionist...never knew he could be so anti-everything...

this is very scary that a President trying so hard to fix a lot of problems is vilified, by many...this goes beyond belief.

Let's just call him the anti-in-charge...God Bless our President. Funny how many of the religious right are praying for his failures...that is showing what they are really made of.

I wish I could say it was ...but I was just reading the comments from an article in the Washington post and the comment section was very telling...As much as we bashed GW..the vile is at a different level in the mainstream [[if you consider newsmax and slate mainstream)... this is a trend that looks as if it is going to get ridiculous..

our disagreements here only rarely sink to that level....seriously..

West Bank belongs to the Jews according to Bible. The Palestinians have no right to be there and must be expelled. Israel must forcibly expel the Palestinians before pressure builds up. Obama has betrayed Israel and will be brought down. We will use our media power and control to bring down Obama. Without Jewish money and media backing he will be defeated by a challenger. Already, many wealthy jewish donors have contacted Congressmen and women to put pressure on Israel.

US must support Israel because Israel is our only ally in the middle east. Mozlems hate America and our freedom which is why they attacked us on 9/11. Israel is fighting the terrorist Mozlems that hate America. Iraq was a big threat to Israel. Due to the hard work of Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, Bill Kristol and the Jewish lobby and the media, US attacked Iraq to remove the threat to Israel. 4000 American troops died in Iraq, which greatly benefited Israel. What is good for Israel is also good for us.

this is one example of the anger he is eliciting for wanting to bring peace and equality to all peoples..I feel Obama will be the best friend to Israel...really..he will go down as the best president for their long term security...why LOve and Boundaries.

No actually Obama if successful or let to be successful will facilitate a step towards peace for all of Abraham's children [[ if the settlers, Hamas and BIBI don't screw it up)

Obama brazenly "meddling" in Israel's rights to defending themselves and welcoming of terrorists to bargaining tables is not the path for Israeli prosperity...quite the opposite. Your spin of this story 180 degrees opposite of the reality is so absurd that it is laughable.

If the advice is suicide [[and it is), they will not take it. The money is not given without something in return...namely a beach head in the region to protect our vital interests there.

Oh, I suppose I should preemptively explain the vital interest part as I know myopic liberals will jump all over this one.

Maintaining access to affordable energy from the middle east and the stability of the region necessary for them to continue producing.

Especially since the socialists in power here will not allow domestic production of energy beyond their fantasy of renewable alternate sources [[that yield next to nothing now and for the foreseeable future).

  19. #19

Defending itself is one thing; perpetuating absorption of water rights through "natural growth" settlements is another... ignoring the international community and the USA [[every President has called settlements an obstacle of peace)...Just because the Likud and APIAC [[which seems to be their media arm here) are one in the same doesn't mean we all are buying it anymore. When it boils down ..both Hamas and Likudites are biggots and want to see each other go away...

If anyone with ounce of fairness doesn't see the reality of Israel's current right wingers in charge then they are in denial...they are screwing their future as much as Hamas is screwing the Palestinians if not more...but they do with with a European face and business suits.

If you mean our vital interests is served by aligning with a right wing government that doesn't seek peace then please explain to us why that is in our best interest? Or maybe they continue to do the dirty work that we can't do?

The biggest thing the extremist fear is moderation ..in Israel or Palestine..and even here...then you have to ask yourself why? loss of power, loss of billions in military aid for Israel and loss of justification for blatant ignoring civil and international law and destroying eachothers future..Fear of Moderation that seems to be universal in extremists on both sides of the wall.

I believe Bush is an alien. His amply demonstrated lack of understanding of what it means to be human makes the claim credible.
