The government should, through a constitutional amendment, extend the term of House members to four years and adjust the term of senators to either four or eight years, so that all elected federal officials would be chosen during presidential election years.

This might be a good idea. The 2 year house terms are too short.

Since the Bad Ole' Party, the Party of NO [[Republicans) took control the House and Senate of U.S.Congress. Here's what they are going to do:

1. get rid of or add public options to Obamacare.

2. Accept corporate favors and give the rich some tax breaks.

3. Make plans to cut service agencies to poor American families such as welfare and wood stamps.

4. Forget about immigration reform. [[ Better yet send those throw away Hispanic kids back home!) and increase border patrol along the U.S. Mexico border.

The Republicans will make Obama pay for what he did to them all those years.

Ummn, eh, #2. will not be much different that what is going on now! Think about it... Just other corporate favors and other rich people pushing up to the buffet line.

Some of the current coddled, rich folks can do a 'dualy' [[swing bipartisan) and retain their tax breaks.
