    Default Detroit Edison Fenkell Yard

Hidey all...the lurker has another building question.
I've been scouring the internet and beyond trying to get info about a building on Fenkell, near where Fenkell meets Rosa Parks. It's a large brick building, it was built in 1924.
The only thing I could find was an old streetcar map and it pointed it out as the Detroit Edison Fenkell Yard.
    That's all I got.
My guess was that it was maybe a power station or a maintenance yard?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    And stories.

Is this it? This one is on Woodrow Wilson, just the other side of the Lodge from the corner of Rosa Parks and Fenkell.

It was a warehouse and yard where Edison kept supplies [[poles, transformers, reels of wire, etc) and probably dispatched maintenance crews from there. They has a few of them around the region.

Here's a DropBox link to the 1925 Sanborn page that shows the building and yard.
