    Orphan Car Show, Sunday, September 21, 2014, 9am-4pm.
    The 18th annual show highlights cars that are out of production, but still loved by many, including Stutz, Stanley Steamer, Studebaker, Nash, American Motors as well as favorite models from recently departed brads like Mercury, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, and Pontiac. Stations wagons are the featured models this year. In addition to a display of cars in the park, the show features a pass in review in which the cars drive by while automotive historians describe their histories. Hosted by the Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Museum, this annual event takes place in Riverside Park, Ypsilanti. $6; children 12 and under free. For more info: 734-482-5200.
