Default Obama To Send 3,000 Military Forces To Fight Ebola In West Africa

Setting aside political orthodoxy and allegiances is this really a good idea?

Listen carefully to what is being said, very carefully:

... including medics and corpsmen for treatment and training, engineers to help build treatment facilities and logistics specialists to assist in patient transportation. Troops would not provide direct care to Ebola patients, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said.
Whew. At first it sounded like they were going to go over there to shoot that Ebola guy.

a global pandemic is a perfect excuse for the conspiracy theorists worst nightmares to be realized.

A 'conspiracy' usually concedes that something is hidden! And a pandemic would not adhere to partisan boundaries. Darn! Viruses and infections are sorta pesky that way......

A case of Ebola has been discovered in Dallas.

"The ambulance crew has been quarantined, and the ambulance taken out of service, according to a statement from the city of Dallas. None of the officials at the news conferences would say whether the man is an American citizen. They said only that he was visiting family members who live in this country.""

"But a statement released by the city of Dallas said the man had “moved to Dallas from Liberia a week ago.”"

I'm not against the deployment of 3,000 troops to fight ebola but it's amazing that quarantine policies aren't in place for travelers from Liberia. If this victim had, in fact, just "moved to Dallas from Liberia" this incident could shine light on our nation's open border and immigration policies or lack thereof. One good note is that Nigeria managed to contain its ebola outbreak brought in by a Liberian-American on his way to the US. If Nigeria could stop its outbreak, the US should be able to do the same.

I told you all the Ebola will escape containment. Now let's tell the FAA that ban flights from Ebola infected nations. Now the outbreak of doom in the U.S. will begin soon.

But our handlers and mainstream media tell us not to worry. It's not airborne yet, YET the doctors and medics dress in space suits. Yeah...

The family with which the first US victim was staying has five kids who have been attending four different schools while he stayed with them. This next quote reminds me too much of FEMA's inept handling of New Orleans. They want us to think they are doing everything they can but neighbors have to find out what's going on in the news.

"Residents and the manager at the complex (where the first victim was staying with family) said no one from the CDC or health department have contacted them."

That will never happen - not even after such a precaution is BEYOND being useful. Realty has not quite taken hold.

Ebola isn't passed through airborne transmission. If I was dealing with it though, I too would be wearing extremely protective gear. I'd have to bet that you would too. Let's be realistic here. Any type of fluid exchange would compromise your chances of survival. Tell me you wouldn't suit up if you were aware of possible consequences from vomit, spitting or other multiple options of fluid exchange. Even dentists dress like aliens these days.

Exactly we agree! I WOULD SUIT UP! Which speaks to the seriousness of the disease which is my main point, in contrast to what we're really being told. WHO says one thing one day, CDC says something else the next. So far so good if it is not airborne.

If the Ebola outbreak is totally out of control, sealing off air and boat travel would slow down the transmission of the disease.

England closes its ports during the 12th Century Bubonic Plague that wipe out 66 percent of Europeans saving their island nation.

But for political reasons it will not happen before that as I stated. Liberia etc. having their own social and political problems for sure, but the affected areas are attempting some level of quarantine along their borders. The US, a full ocean away and chooses to do little about ours!
