Fact Checking Statements in This Year's Political Ads

Wow. I can't believe all the political ads running in this area. The two big races, attracting big money for ads, are governor and the Senate seat vacated by Levin.

Ads are propaganda and no doubt information is twisted and taken out of context. I really like how images in these ads of the opposing candidate are so dang UGLY. They really find [[and create) some zinger pics.

If you know of any lies or distortions in any of these ad campaigns, please fact check them in this thread. And if you have sources [[other than just your opinion), please include a link.
