Default Detroit Police Call Box now in Las Vegas

Bought an old call box, c. 1930s, from a retired copper friend of mine in Detroit and had it shipped FedEx. Was in rough shape upon arrival, but a lot of paint stripper and TLC brought it back to life in my garage out here in Las V.......well, Henderson, actually. Top: As it looked on arrival; Middle; after cleaning up; bottom; interior of box. That's my old badge number on the number plate. It's actually box 57 from the dits on the telegraph unit inside. The wireless phone inside is connected to my land line.

A very good restoration and creative re-use of the old call box. I like it.
