need more like him. The cynical crank in me is expecting we'll shortly [[now that this effort has been publicized) hear about the criminal trespass complaint slapped on the guy from whatever bank or slumlord/speculator that actually owns those lots.

So, just because I live in Detroit, too , and I see and hear a lot, I cringed at the 500 tires on those lots. What will happen to them, if he moves on?

And the blaring music - I can't stand it. No peace in my home and I so long for time away from the heavy base beat that can't be escaped.

Other than that - brilliant and happy and imaginative and memorable for the children. Who would regret growing up around that man?

Mr Davis is funnelling all that neighborhood youthful energy into a place that produces a positive outcome, good on you Sir. It'd be nice if some of Detroit's deep pockets would throw him a few bones so he could really make it nice, imagine if he had new gym equipment and maybe a riding mower since he is cutting half the neighborhoods yards. Hes creating great childhood memories for these kids and building character through example.

Just imagine if every block in the city had a man like Dan Davis on it. That city would be a very different place than what it presently is.

He seems to be a wonderful influence on the children of his neighborhood. God bless him.
