Default Flight en route to Liberia to evacuate Americans infected with Ebola

Two Ebola infected Americans taken to Atlanta. Other related info, source of breakout, etc. 13214+ comments and counting....

    http://www.cnn.com/2014/07/31/health...html?hpt=hp_t1

    From article:

A CNN crew saw the plane depart shortly after 5 p.m. ET. The plane matched the description provided by the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

It was not immediately known when the two Americans -- identified by the source as Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol -- would arrive in the United States, or where the plane would land.

At least one of the two will be taken to a hospital at Emory University, near the headquarters of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, hospital officials told CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

Taking a doctor or anyone who infected with Ebolavirus to the U.S. or any foreign nation will be very dangerous and deadly! Anyone can try their best to contain an infected person. But viruses can find a way to evolve and escape containment. Man is not met to mess with biological hazards that we don't know it's abilities, until its too late.

Ebolaviruses is the number one biological killer in the planet. It's a African tropical disease that can replicate, evolve, mutate and adapt at will. So far you can Ebola from coming in contact with infected person from coughing, blood or semen contact. The Ebolaviruses can get into the host, and rots every last living tissues in its hosts body. Your eyes and skin will bleed, Your lungs will cough out blood. You will be severely paralyzed and die within weeks. There is no treatment and NO CURE! Once its in you, say your prayers! And may God have mercy on your soul!

That's what worries me. Transporting the ebola patients to this continent exponentially spreads the risk across borders and oceans. Keeping them where they are will not make them any worse and will limit risk to that area better than any other way. Quarantine was created for a reason before anti-biotics, and need to be reinstated now that we have such resistant diseases.

Risk factors for transporting the patients start with sanitizing all areas where they have been. Transport vehicles including ambulance, choppers, planes. Anyone involved in the transport is a risk and must be sanitized, quarantined and monitored for infection. Those sanitizing the vehicles and the people are at risk as well. One of those American victims was sanitizing workers. Then once you have the people here, there are care workers, cleaning crew and others all placed at risk. Do you quarantine the entire facility? Sanitizing everyone that comes out does not seem to be 100% effective. That virus will get out, and will start to mutate and be able to spread here, it is just a matter of time. Why make it easier for the virus by deliberately bringing it here?

I'm more worried about casual contacts than the risks monitored by the best disease control people in this country. They will probably be using these two saintly victims to observe and learn as much as they can about the disease. Unlike in Africa, the best researchers are here. Maybe something they learn will more than offset risked posed.

One American died in Nigeria where he was to transfer planes to Minneapolis.
"On July 20, Sawyer collapsed after getting off an Arik Air flight from Liberia to Lagos, Nigeria, where he was attending a conference. He was planning a visit to Coon Rapids next month to see his wife and his three daughters"

I'm thinking that was a closer brush with ebola than the two Americans just brought in under tight security. This other American had just been in a plane full of people. But what other people have recently flown in from the hot zone in Africa or shared plane seats with someone from there.

But the venerable gov says OK to allow this. We're told the risk is 'manageable' or some other stupid adjective will be used. When they say all is well, worry and prepare. I am of the age to recall stories of elders quarantined for 'Consumption', a very common disease of those times, like polio. Then you only heard of it rarely... Then we got complacent, even after the AIDS epidemic. Interesting times ahead indeed.

For all Americans have seen post-apocalyptic viral movies:

    1. I am Legend

    2. 28 Days Later [[A British film)

    3. Contagion

    4. Resident Evil

    5. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

    6. Outbreak

    7. Steven King's The Stand

Letting a Ebolavirus patient into the mainland U.S. will be risky! Once its loose nothing can't stop it!!!!!!!

I'm glad Hollywood warn us about the main point of these movies.

In the meantime those doomsday preppers are already hidding in their shelters right now. They will be the future of the human race before the cockroaches!

Later on watch TNT's drama The Last Ship, that will be the preview the global pandemic has wipe out 90 percent of humanity.
