Trade Smyly and Jackson. It makes the rotation better for this year and pretty much guarantees Scherzer is gone at the end of the year. Jackson has been hot and cold his entire career and he's lost a step in both stolen bases and defense this season. Carrera is having a great year at Toledo and will play center with Davis, although Carrera is 27 yrs. old and hardly a pup. Meanwhile as I watch this game it's the Tigers' defence that's costing them in a close game once again.

The best starting rotation with the worst possible bullpen. And since in the playoffs they only rotate 4 starters, at least we had Smyly in Left hand relief. Not quite sure what we're gonna do now in the 7th 8th and 9th.
