    Here are twenty-seven maps which show a lot of ethnic, education, economic, and sociaolgical distributions in the US. On each of them you can see how the SE of Michigan stands out in relation to the rest of the US.

    I like the spillover into New France in the cultural territorial distribution map. What, no mention of the rest of Canada? This map will do well in reinforcing the notion that French Canada, i.e; Quebec contributes a distinct context within North America. It is not as fuzzy a notion in the colleges of America as it is in the population at large.
