    Came across an old photo of MI Ave & Lumley......I know some of you lived near the area back in the day.

    Thanks Smirnoff. Those 'then and now' comparisons are very effective. I'd be interested in seeing if there are neighborhood streetscape pics from the 30s to the 60s, so they can be compared with current Streetview scenes. That'd be more informative than the usual media shots of blighted neighborhoods without an idea of where they've come from.

    "Detroit now" pictures always look like post-apocalypse movies with no people left. At least it's getting harder to take those shots downtown now.
