    Default Where's Lorax?

What happened to him/her? Shortly after challenging me to read Tom Hartmann's book [[which I did) in exchange for him reading my recommended book, he disappeared.

You may not know this, but in the summer, a lot of people go on vacation.

Away from an internet access? For several weeks? In this economy? Right after he threw down the gauntlet and I picked it up?

    Not likely.

    Just an observation,

Isn't there a connections section of this board for this kind of thing?

What is the Lorax and why was it there, and why was it lifted and taken somewhere?

    Well done Gaz, clever.

    Maybe the Rethugnicans got him/her.

Perhaps an accident or illness. More likely a vacation or the demands of a job or family issue. Some people have lives, interests, and obligations. Very few have the time or desire to post upwards of 2500 redundant posts. I suspect Lorax will be back soon, with an amusing reply.
In any case, reading a book is seldom a bad thing.....

    Peace

More like he was reported by the snitch.

Yes, it's all about you. There couldn't possibly be another explanation.

I have been playing with this thread...I am sure there is a rational explanation for his absence immediately following our challenge.

If it were a "snitch" wouldn't his profile reflect a change of status?

I'm quite confident Lorax is a she. Not that it really matters..

Or is this just another one of your "generalizations"? LOL

    I don't think so. I thought I saw a man's name on his profile.

He or she appears to be MIA for a while now....darn it, I went through that book by Hartmann for nothing.

Did you buy it or steal it by downloading it?

He says he lives in Miami, maybe his A/C went out in his house and he's just too hot to post.

Props to you for not being hypocritical, like many folks are.

Somebody snitched on him and probably many times, too.

Nonsense, his profile does not indicate that he is banned.

Since s/he posted the opinion that we were in depression, I can only presume that s/he doesn't have enough money to go on vacation.
