    Default Wheelmobile at Chene Park + motel recommendations?

    Wheel of Fortune is holding auditions at Chene Park on May 30 and 31.

    I've been going to auditions for years in the hopes of getting on. Got close a couple times, but I think this'll finally be the one!

    As an aside, where would be a good, safe, inexpensive place to stay around that area? Or would I have to go all the way out to the suburbs for that?

    Try Robert's Riverwalk Hotel. I never stayed there, but did talk to a few out-of-towners that said they always come back. You literally can walk to Chene Park.

    Ha ha - I actually considered staying at that place when I booked a weekend visit to Detroit. I knew nothing about it - I just saw it on Google Maps and liked its proximity to Eastern Market.

    Good thing I took a look at it with Google Street View. I ended up staying at the Hilton Garden Inn
