    Default What About Bob's?

Does anyone have any info on this former diner downtown [[Griswold north of Michigan)? It's apparent it probably catered to the downtown lunch crowd. Did it have anything good? Any stories at all? I googled it but nothing substantive comes up except from a blog which I linked below.

It was a Greenfield's restaurant at one time in the '60s and '70s. I believe that the metal awning is from that time.

The late, great Griswold Sporting Goods was also on that block, and a Cunningham's drug store that wrapped around the David Stott Building in an L-shape with another exit on State St.

Years ago the building was the Colonial Department store, entrance on State, wrap around to Griswold. The facade on Griswold matched the facade on State before the false front was added. Griswold Sporting goods operated out of the Griswold frontage for years.
