Fluffy, but it's still nice to have lots of great things to talk about.

Definitely fluffy, but I do consider Midtown to be a neighborhood. The term neighborhood in Detroit's case doesn't necessarily mean bad. When an area becomes successful, is it no longer categorized as one of the neighborhoods?

It is always charming to hear nice things about our fair city. One note, a neighborhood was mentioned, that being southwest Detroit. Dispite wide spread blight, lots of neighborhoods stay viable. Always like good press.

Midtown and Downtown are booming, I didn't know that. Nice to see my tax dollars going somewhere.

Oh quit being grumpy. With the new Mayor I expect lots of real investment back into the city at large. I expect real dialogue and real action from this new regime. Hey my garbage got pick up on time. Neighborhoods have suffered from severe neglect, I expect that to change. The viable communities struggle to obtain grants and and we are a little like rafts on the ocean. I think we will be thrown that life line. Be positive, think positive.

Come and porch sit with us. Very calming. If you want more active programs try GSCC.

I wish there were not so many trolls on the forum. It would be nice to discuss real problems and issues and look for solutions without nasties jumping on board. I occasionally profess my angst but try not to, don't feed the trolls is my motto. Many good programs starting up in my community. Much need too! A little one came over with a bowl of cereal, mama had no milk in the house. We could provide the milk. I never inquire into these kids lives. We just do as we can. So many on this board are so caring and giving, we are just one of so many that see our kids are our future.
