Default A Night at the Aquarium - Tomorrow!

    Fellow Belle Isle Aquarium supporters,

Time to walk the walk! Online ticket sales close at 4:30pm today, so if you want to get your ticket, now is the time. You will also be able to obtain tickets at the door. Single $60.00 Couple $100.00
If you can't make it, you can also donate at the home page of the site.
"A Night at the Aquarium" fundraising event is (tomorrow!) on July 25, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
This event is sponsored by Friends of Belle Isle Aquarium, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the support of the City of Detroit Recreation Department.
The event is designed to kick off an aggressive and creative revenue-building campaign to renovate and reopen the Belle Isle Aquarium for the enjoyment of all.
Proceeds raised will partner with a $40,000 grant recently awarded for the renovation of the aquarium roof. Our goal is to match that grant and with your help, we believe we can.
The Belle Isle Aquarium is located in Belle Isle Park adjacent to the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory. Belle Isle Park is located off Jefferson Avenue, approximately one mile east of the Renaissance Center in Detroit. The park is accessed via the Belle Isle/MacArthur Bridge. Secured parking immediately adjacent to the Aquarium is free. Summer casual attire is welcome and your tickets will be waiting at the door. We have many wonderful items in our silent auction. Bidding will close at 9:30 p.m. We request that winners be present to pick up and pay for their items. Other fantastic surprises await you! For further information on the event or our organization, please visit www.belleisleaquarium.com. For questions, please call and leave a message for Vance Patrick (586) 663-9482.

Thanks to all of you who are contributing to re-open this vital Detroit educational institution, and a special thanks to all those volunteers who selflessly gave their time in order to make it happen.
    Check out the event!

    Everyone else, walk the walk.
