There is a new book looking at what may happen to society if we remain oil dependent and the cost of oil continues to rise. It’s called $20 a gallon or something.

Yes, and no...the centralized piece is new from the Obama administration. Converting to private EMRs by hospitals and health care providers has been encouraged and optional for a while.
