In the ever evolving hip restaurant scene in Detroit , has anyone checked out the new restaurant Zenith in the fisher building ?

its a really cool space , very hip and kitsie .
once they get their liquor license I think this place could work.
the food is pretty tasty too, mostly hip Mexican , they serve lunch and dinner and brunch.
ill attempt to post pics via my iPhone

Maybe I'm too old, but a club sandwich at Shetler's would do me just fine......

The place is quite a Kitsch-fest. Had the Poutine Deluxe & Passion Fruit French Toast today, 'twas yummy!

Where exactly is it in the building? Memory says there used to be a restaurant on the corner where the 2nd street [[theater) lobby met the main lobby. It would get real busy during show intermissions.....

Good to see a new place open, but sad to see garish cheapness in the Fisher building.

Zenith occupies the SE corner of the building [[W Grand Blvd & Second). There's been a succession of restaurants in that space since the 1980's. Some quite good, some, not so much. The room is striking. Hope it is successful.
