    Default Worthy:Assailants of Beaten Livonia Vet Will Not Be Prosecuted. Says Vet Started it.

    This story went viral and national when a Livonia veteran claimed he was attacked and beaten because he was a vet. Remarks by the Westland Police Chief added credence to the claim and the story skyrocketed and the alleged assailants were arrested.



    Worthy's investigation found otherwise. The Vet started the fight, pursued the assailants who attempted flee, then filed a complaint against them with a fabricated story.
