Here we are today, talking about Detroit's racial problems like the dreaded 1967 riots that almost destroy Detroit. White folks left, black folks [[who don't have the money) stayed and they will continue to live their ghettos like some kind of German Detention camp, Native American Reservations and Japanese Interment Camps.

Who gives a care, what's done its history. I will remember that to my grave and so will lots of black folks who are living in Detroit, suburbs or all over the world.

younger generations werent around for the riot.
you cant sweep history under the bridge. in school we learned about rosa parks, did we learn she was a detroit resident ? nope!

i dont remember learning much about detroit riots from textbooks. only from my grandmother.

i'm happy to have any info on the riots, including 43 riot and 67 riot.
i hope this documentary talks to as many people as possible to get their memories and possibly even photos or diary/journals into something the kids can read.
