Default Dusting off Soviet era humor in American TV...

OK... now that we're going to be best friends with the Ukraine, at the expense of the new Evil Empire.... it's time to dust off our old Hollywood stereotypes once again....

It is true that you've thought that in Russia bears walk in our streets? What we drink vodka and eat caviar?

Bears walk the streets of Chicago and frequent the Soldiers' Field there. One aging Bull from Chicago has been to North Korea. He may have had some vodka but I haven't heard of any Bears going to Russia. When Bears show up in Green Bay, Packers prehnite them. Take care of your bears sveta. Don't send them to Green Bay. Chicago could use a few more good Bears though although our resident Wolverine might better address that.

Sveta... Oladub is talking about our "bear" sports team...

American's know that there are no bears walking the streets of Russia... also Caviar is only for the rich... in both Russia and America. As for Vodka... well there's enough of that being drunk on both sides of the Bering Straights.

But what is sad is that cold war type propaganda is now alive and well once again.

    I follow the Moskva
    Down to Gorky Park
Listening to the wind of change
    An August summer night
    Soldiers passing by
Listening to the wind of change

    The world is closing in
    Did you ever think
That we could be so close, like brothers
    The future's in the air
    I can feel it everywhere
Blowing with the wind of change

Take me to the magic of the moment
    On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
    in the wind of change

    Walking down the street
    Distant memories
Are buried in the past forever
    I folow the Moskva
    Down to Gorky Park
Listening to the wind of change

Take me to the magic of the moment
    On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
    With you and me
Take me to the magic of the moment
    On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
    in the wind of change

    The wind of change
Blows straight into the face of time
Like a stormwind that will ring the freedom bell
    For peace of mind
    Let your balalaika sing
What my guitar wants to say

Take me to the magic of the moment
    On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
    With you and me
Take me to the magic of the moment
    On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
in the wind of change [[с)

Sadly for Ukraine, that "wind of change" just blew through Crimea like a tornado. =[[
