Default Neal Shine on Judge David Vokes

Way back when, Mr. Shine wrote a nice editorial about Judge Vokes, his long tenure on the bench, and love of Detroit.

Included with that article was a great photo of David the newlywed with his beloved Marian. If memory serves there was a horse drawn milkcart in the background.

I've Googled looking for that photo more than once. Judge Vokes was a cousin of mine from Leesville times, we were both descended from James Vaux & Charles Lee.

If any of you super sleuths out there can find this, I'd be real grateful.

Sorry that I do not have the photo you want, but I do remember your cousin. He was a merit badge counselor for the Boy Scouts and you had to pass a test in his office for Citizenship in the Community, Nation and the World.

He did a lot of nice work for the youth in Detroit.
